Our guest curator this week is Jeff Dawson, director of the Lester Public Library in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. In 2010, the library received a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant to digitize the Hubert R. Wentorf historic photograph collection. Utilizing this collection and his own photography skills, Jeff has created a series of ‘then and now’ scenarios. The ‘now’ photos were all taken on July 30, 2012. This first image shows the Waverly Hotel under construction in 1893.
