Denny’s lab, Beloit College, Wisconsin, 1898.
Our guest curator Sara Ring of the Minnesota Digital Library writes:
It’s the day before Thanksgiving, and these Beloit College 1898 botany students look like they’re the last to leave the classroom (perhaps wrapping up finals?) before heading home for the holidays. Note all the papers strewn about on the other lab tables, and the lovely attire worn by the students!

We’re doing a little Wisconsin-Minnesota cross-cultural exchange this week. Check out our Thanksgiving-related picks from the Minnesota Reflections collections on the Minnesota Digital Library Facebook page.
